Restore Granular Soil Wetting Agent is a general purpose, highly penetrating, heavy duty wetting agent for use where minimal watering-in is preferable, or minimal water application volumes are available.
It is a specialty non-ionic surfactant designed to have a long release, which assists in the retention of water by overcoming soil hydrophobicity, dramatically improving soil penetration.
It will overcome water repellency and enhance soil rewetting capabilities to prevent and treat dry patch. It will reduce environmental water loss by reducing evaporation, allowing more water to remain in the soil and being available to the roots of the grass/plants. It offers an extra layer of protection to avoid your soil drying out on occasions when you are away or unable to water as per your usual schedule.
Restore Granular Soil Wetting Agent is easy to apply, able to be spread by hand or using a fertiliser type spreader for larger areas. Its uniform particle size ensures even and accurate spreading. It is visible after application which means no areas are missed. It does not require watering-in as rainfall or normal irrigation is sufficient.
It is versatile and able to be used for all lawn and garden types as well as in composting and potting mix.
As with all soil surfactants, the earlier a programme is commenced in the spring the better the control of ‘dry patch’ over the summer months.
