McKays Slow Release Lawn Fertiliser
To ensure the health and longevity of your grass, regular fertilising is required.
McKays Slow Release Fertiliser ensures a measured release of nutrients into the soil over many weeks. This can also be used as a starter fertiliser prior to or in combination with sowing of your grass seeds. This fertiliser is safe to apply when seeding in combination with your grass seeds. We recommend a second application of fertiliser approx 8 weeks post seed germination for most grasses. Please contact us if you have questions.
Components: Our fertiliser contains Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulphur and Trace Minerals 22-5-8-9. See product breakdown in Description section below. MSDS is available on request. It is recommended to use Personal Protective Equipment when broadcasting this product.
Frequency: We recommend fertilising your lawn every 3-6 months.
Distribution Rate: 30g per square meter (3kg per 100sqm).
Distribution Tip: Using our range of spreaders will assist in more even distribution and avoid clumping of fertiliser, which can burn the grass.

I placed an order for Fert mix, wetting agent and seed on Friday the 16th Sept about 8pm. The moment I placed the order I realised I had selected the wrong seed and sent an email immediately.
Monday afternoon I called to double check and the customer service was outstanding and the issue (which was my own) rectified, stating I would receive a call, I did, the old seed cancelled and correct seed added to the order. Sherwin was awesome.
Wednesday morning the 21st, the entire order arrived via courier, including the correct seed!. All products were packaged well and appear of great quality, I will write an additional review and add photos once used. The communication, customer service, price and speedy delivery even after an order issue, is WAY above most other businesses and very impressive, so thank you, and we’ll done.
