Where can I sow this grass in Australia?
Areas: 4, 6, 8, 9.
Bentgrass is primarily a cool/warm season grass, and will suit temperate climates in Australia. The best time to sow is when the temperature is close to 18 degrees. The only places we would not recommend bent grass is in the far north parts of Australia, where the weather is a consistently about 35 degrees. Unfortunately at these temperatures the roots just cannot sustain the heat- and die off.
One of the things we LOVE about bentrass is the quick germiantion time. Typically when we plan we see some movement within 7 days, and some of our customers see germination within 10 days.
Shade Tolerance: High
Sunlight Required: 4 hours

A very large street tree was removed from our nature strip leaving behind a very large bare patch in the middle of the lawn. Tried unsuccessfully three times to grow grass on the patch with other seeds. Delighted to see green grass shoots now growing from Bentrgrass Penncross. Thank you.
